Who this is for

For Dogs Who Need a Thorough Wash & Coat Refresh

Our mobile dog bath and brush service is designed for dogs who need a thorough wash and coat refresh — without any coat cutting or styling. We focus on gently washing, drying, and maintaining your dog's coat to control odor, reduce shedding, and support healthy skin. It's the right fit for active dogs who roll in everything, short-haired breeds like boxers and beagles, puppies new to bathing and brushing, dogs with sensitive skin or allergies, and senior or anxious pets who don't handle full grooming sessions well. If your dog also needs their coat trimmed or shaped, our Full Body Haircut service is the better match.

Each bath is completed one-on-one in our fully equipped mobile grooming van, parked right at your home. Your dog is the only pet in the van — no car rides, no waiting rooms, no crowded salons. The van offers a quiet, climate-controlled environment with calm, unrushed, personalized care from start to finish. It's an ideal solution for routine maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and dogs who do best with a low-stress bathing experience, and it's especially good for heavy shedders like Labrador retrievers, goldens, and huskies.
Common reasons pet parents book our mobile bath service:

  • Odor control and coat refresh between appointments
  • Shedding management for heavy shedders (Labs, Goldens, Huskies)
  • Maintenance between full grooming sessions
  • Sensitive-skin bathing with gentle, hypoallergenic products
  • Low-stress baths for anxious dogs, puppies, and seniors
  • Seasonal cleanups after mud, snow, or summer activity
  • Convenience and safety for busy families

Traditional grooming salons can be overwhelming - long waits, crowded kennels, loud dryers. Mobile bathing removes those stress triggers, which makes a noticeable difference in comfort and behavior, especially for anxious or senior dogs.

Not sure whether your dog needs a bath or a full haircut? Tell us about their coat when you book and we'll recommend the right service. Most of our Denver and Thornton clients book this service every 4-6 weeks.

How it works

Our 5-Step Bath Experience

Every bath takes place start to finish inside our fully equipped mobile grooming van, parked right in your driveway. Your dog is the only pet in the van - no waiting kennels, no loud dryers, no strange dogs - and we work at their pace from start to finish. Because bathing should be calm and relaxing, we never rush. Most bath appointments run 1 to 2 hours depending on size, coat condition, and any add-ons.

  1. Consultation & Coat check. A quick hands-on check of your dog's coat, skin, and overall condition. We talk through any skin sensitivities, allergies, shedding concerns, or special handling your dog needs, and confirm the right shampoo for their coat type. We proudly bathe senior dogs, anxious pups, and even blind dogs - with extra time and gentle handling for our most sensitive clients.
  2. Warm Bath with Coat-Appropriate Shampoo. A warm-water pre-rinse, followed by a gentle wash using shampoo matched to your dog's coat and skin needs — including hypoallergenic options for sensitive skin. We rinse thoroughly so no residue is left behind, which is key to avoiding irritation and itchy skin between appointments.
  3. Low-Stress Blow-Dry & Brush-Out. We dry and brush your dog using low-stress techniques, working through the coat to remove loose undercoat, reduce shedding, and smooth out tangles before they turn into mats. A proper brush-out is what separates a quick wash from a professional bath - especially for heavy shedders like Labs, Goldens, and Huskies.
  4. Complimentary Nail, Paw & Oral Care. We finish the hygiene round with a gentle nail trim, paw pad tidy-up, ear cleaning to prevent buildup and discomfort, and a teeth wipe and breath refresh - so your dog walks out feeling clean from nose to paws.
  5. Finishing Touches. An optional bow, bandana, or spritz of dog-friendly perfume - and back to your door smelling fresh and feeling relaxed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mobile Dog Baths

How often should dogs get a bath?

Most dogs benefit from a bath every 4 to 6 weeks. Dogs with skin sensitivities may need a customized schedule, which we are happy to discuss during your appointment.
Regular baths help:

  • Control shedding
  • Reduce odor
  • Maintain healthy skin and coat
  • Spot potential skin issues early

How long does mobile dog grooming take?

Mobile dog grooming typically takes 1 to 2 hours. The exact time depends on your dog's size, coat condition, and the services requested.

What's the difference between a bath and a full groom?

A mobile bath & brush is a wash, blow-dry, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth wipe — but no scissor work or clipper cuts. A full groom adds a haircut or breed-standard style on top of everything in the bath. If your dog just needs to smell clean, shed less, and feel fresh between appointments, book the bath. If their coat is getting long, matted, or needs shaping, our Full Body Haircut service is the right fit. Not sure which one you need? Tell us about your dog's coat when you book and we'll recommend the right service.

What do I do if my dog is scared of the dryer?

Dryer anxiety is one of the most common reasons dogs dread grooming - and it's exactly why we use low-stress blow-dry techniques. We introduce the dryer gradually, keep it on low settings when needed, hold it farther from the body, and supplement with towel-drying for dogs who truly can't tolerate the airflow. For very sensitive dogs, we can skip the high-velocity dry entirely and air-dry in the warm van while we brush. Let us know about your dog's history with dryers when you book so we can plan the appointment around their comfort from the start.

Can I add de-shedding or special shampoos to a bath service?

Yes! You can personalize your dog's bath by adding a de-shedding or special shampoo with add-on upgrades. Our Fur-nado De-Shed treatment is perfect for heavy shedders like Huskies, German Shepherds, or Golden Retrievers, helping reduce loose fur around your home. We also offer DeLuxe Lather premium shampoos, from lavender and oatmeal to hypoallergenic formulas for pups with sensitive skin or pet parents who want an extra spa finish. Additional charges may apply for these specialty treatments, but they're a great way to give your dog's coat extra shine, softness, and comfort.
