Rabies vaccination is required by Colorado law and must be kept up to date. Our office requires a current copy of the rabies certificate on file.
If your pup needs extra care due to age, disability, or behavior, please let us know in advance. A handling fee may apply if additional time is needed. For safety reasons, Fur Sure Grooming reserve the right to stop the groom if we feel that either the groomer or your pup is at risk.
Each grooming package includes a 15-minute brush-out. Additional brushing or de-shedding beyond this time may incur an extra fee, and will be discussed during pre-groom consult.
"De-matting" or shaving may significantly change your pet's appearance and reveal hidden skin or health issues, for which Fur Sure Grooming Co. cannot be held liable. Severe matting close to the skin may require shaving as the only humane option. A pre-shave before bathing can be discussed during pre-groom consult. Fur Sure Grooming Co. reserves the right to refuse any service considered inhumane.
Severe matting can conceal skin or health issues like bruising, infections, or parasites, which may become evident after grooming. Fur Sure Grooming Co. is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or complications related to matting and its removal. Owners assume responsibility for any veterinary care required.
We do not shave double-coated breeds (e.g., Huskies, German Shepherds) due to health risks, recommending instead regular grooming maintenance.
If fleas or parasites are discovered on your dog, a flea bath is required. We will make every attempt to notify the parent, but if we cannot reach you, a flea shampoo fee will be automatically added. For the safety of all pets in our care, if you refuse a flea bath, we must stop the groom and send the dog home. You may also be charged a Salon sanitation fee in severe cases.
If your dog has parasites or a contagious disease, we reserve the right to refuse service until cleared by a veterinarian. Should parasites or ringworm be found mid-groom, you will be contacted immediately regarding the required salon sanitation fee.
Depending on severity, your dog may need veterinary treatment before grooming services can resume. If a grooming must be stopped due to any of these issues, you will only be charged for completed services plus any applicable fees.
We follow Birch Elementary School's inclement weather closures. We do our best to remain open as long as conditions are safe. If you're unsure about your appointment, please call or text us to confirm.
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours' notice to avoid the full appointment fee. Exceptions may be made for severe weather, emergencies, or uncontrollable events. Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may result in a partial groom or a no-show fee. Thank you for your understanding.
